Method of selection of bearing structure and configuration
According to the different types of machinery, the application conditions of bearings will be different, and their functional requirements will be different, but in general, no less than two bearings are used on one shaft.
In addition, to facilitate axial positioning, most bearings are used as fixed-end bearings, while others are used as free-end bearings. The following table lists the options for fixed end and free end bearing structures. Fixed end bearings are used for axial positioning and fixing bearings. Bearings that accept radial and axial loads are designed to accept two-way axial loads. When installing the device, the corresponding strength should be considered according to the size of the axial load. Deep groove ball bearing combination angular contact ball bearing double row angular contact ball shaft self-aligning ball bearing ribbed cylindrical roller bearing (NUP type, NH type) double row roller bearing self-aligning roller bearing free end bearing is used to avoid the elasticity of the shaft caused by temperature changes during operation, and used to adjust the axial direction of the bearing. Bearings that accept radial loads only and have separable inner and outer rings should be used.
When using non-isolated bearings, the clearance between the outer ring and the housing is usually selected for matching, so that when the shaft is elastic, it will be axially avoided with the bearing. It is used to avoid the elasticity of the shaft caused by temperature changes during operation, and to adjust the axial direction of the bearing.
